Add new Android Zero-Touch profile
  1. Go to Settings > Android Settings > Zero-Touch Profiles.
  2. Click Add New.
  3. Name and fill out details for the new profile.

NOTE: The Google Customer field refers to the name of your company/organization. The Android Zero-Touch reseller uses this customer name to identify you when adding purchased devices to your partner portal account.

    • You may choose to set this profile as the default for all new devices.
    • You may choose to provision devices as corporate-owned, personally-enabled (COPE).

IMPORTANT: Corporate-owned, personally-enabled (COPE) devices can only be provisioned from a factory reset state.

  4. Assign devices.
    • You may assign devices during the add profile process, or do so later.
  5. Optional, EMM enrollments only. If you want to enable silent authentication, ensure that the Silent Authentication check box is selected. For more information, see Android EMM: Configure silent authentication.
  6. AMAPI enrollments only. Select Enroll devices using Android Management API (AMAPI). To use this option, you must first configure AMAPI enrollments in the Google Console and KACE Cloud. For details, see Enrolling Android devices.
  7. Click Save.

NOTE: Zero-touch enrollment shows the custom message on a device before it is provisioned. Location of message during provisioning process may vary based on device manufacturer.
